Dr. My-Linh Nguyen grew up in Rockville, MD and is a graduate of the International Baccalaureate program at Richard Montgomery High School. She completed her undergraduate studies in French and Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College in western Massachusetts. She then attended medical school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, where she was inducted into the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society.

After her internship year at WellStar Kennestone in Marietta, GA, she completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency training at Emory University. While at Emory, she was a member of the Clinical Education Track, served as Chief Resident her final year, and received awards in teaching and service. She was also selected into the inaugural Scholars Program by the Society of Skeletal Radiology. Following residency, she pursued a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University of Virginia where she refined her skills in musculoskeletal diagnostic interpretation and procedures.

Having now returned home to Maryland, Dr. Nguyen looks forward to serving her community as a musculoskeletal radiologist with Progressive Radiology. She lives in Olney with her husband and their feisty rescue dog, Hugo, and in her free time enjoys playing tennis, knitting, reading, traveling, and spending time with family.
