Progressive Radiology is excited to announce some additions to our new high tech state of art facility in Tinley Park, IL. We still have the OPEN MRI- Ideal for claustrophobic, anxious, and those uncomfortable in a closed MRI system.
Based on the needs of the growing community of doctors and specialists in the Chicagoland area, we have designed a facility that encompasses all the needs of our area specialists as well as the comfort and time needs of our valued patients in the community. Take advantage of the state-of-the-art technology and friendly atmosphere at our radiological physician owned-and-operated facility. Progressive Radiology is one of the few imaging centers in the Chicago region to offer the new GE 3T MRI as well as the latest generation CT. The 3T MRI is setting the new standard in medical imaging, this is high level technology that has previously been confined to Academic Centers.
3T MRI
Our new 3T MRI embodies our innovative spirit and unwavering commitment to image quality. With 3T MRI, studies of the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, vasculature, and extremities can provide higher-quality images than those obtained at 1.5T. (Prior to the 3 Tesla Machine, the high-field standard was 1.5 Tesla.) The greater overall signal of 3T can be manipulated to make scanning more comfortable and decrease motion artifact, and scan times can be half as long. Our scanner generates a magnetic field that is twice the strength of 1.5 Tesla machines and 10 to 15 times the strength of low field or open MRI scanners. The magnetic field produced by our 3T MRI System yields outstanding anatomic detail. The 3 Tesla MRI creates an information database for physicians.
CT

Fast and accurate interpretation of your CT scan by our highly trained board-certified radiologists. Prompt reporting of results to the physician with Complimentary copies of the images on CD.
We are conveniently located at 7711 W. 159th Street, Tinley Park, IL 60477. We have extended hours to fit the needs of our valued patient’s busy schedules. Monday – Thursday 7am to 7Pm Fridays 7am – 5pm and Saturdays 8am to 12pm. In addition to our exceptional customer service and pre-authorization services, we accept all major health insurances and offer a self-pay policy for uninsured patients.
