Dr. Raymond Tu Making News in June

Progressive Radiology is pleased to announce, Dr. Raymond Tu was recently voted into the American Society of Neuroradiology Executive Committee as well as an alternate representative for the Commission on Neuroradiology of the American College of Radiology.
In addition to these appointments, Dr. Raymond Tu has been awarded the 2013 American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award, which recognizes physicians who show exemplary commitment to patient care and education. Dr. Raymond Tu has advanced to Advisor to the American Medical Association CPT committee representing the American Society of Neuroradiology. CPT is the most widely used medical nomenclature guide; it serves as the reference of billing and coding lanugage as they reach accepted clinical benchmarks critical to all medical specialties as radiology. The CPT process provides stakeholders a physician reviewed mechanism with CMS to introduce and discuss these new innovations as they move into clinical practice with standardized language, code numbers and descriptors. Dr. Tu's work with CPT is synergistic with Dr. Tu's work with J12 of Medicare as a Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC) advisor. Learn more about CPT and the 2013 CPT Manual
