Progressive Radiology Adds Digital X-ray to our Imaging Services and Relocates in Westminster, MD
Progressive Radiology is excited to announce an addition to our new high tech state- of –the- art facility in Westminster, MD. We moved locations in September 2016 to the Phyllis Green Professional Center 826 Washington Road Suite 112, Westminster, MD 21157. In addition, we added the Hitachi Echelon Oval 1.5T MRI, the most state of the art 1.5T MRI in Maryland. It features the most comfortable and broadest possible bore shape ideal for claustrophobic, anxious, bariatric, and pediatric patients. We are now proud to announce that we have also added FujiFilm DR D-Evo Digital X-ray to our imaging services.
Based on the needs of our growing community of doctors and specialists in the Westminster and suburb areas, we have designed a facility that encompasses the needs requested by our area specialists, as well as, the comfort and time needs of our valued patients in the community. 1.5T Oval MRI
Our new 1.5T Oval MRI embodies our innovative spirit and unwavering commitment to image quality. With Oval MRI studies of the brain, spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis, vasculature, and extremities can provide higher quality images that rival those of a closed 3T MRI. The greater overall signal of our Oval 1.5T MRI can be manipulated to make scanning more comfortable and decrease motion artifact, and scan times can be half as long. In addition to our new state-of-the-art facility and equipment, our radiologists are fellowship trained for individual specialties ranging from Neurology, Musculoskeletal, Body, to Women’s Imaging.
Digital X-ray
Our new FujiFilm DR D-Evo Digital X-ray offers innovative digital imaging technologies to provide exceptional image quality and medical ionizing radiation dose reduction. Our Digital X-ray low dose x-ray exams are perfect for all ranges of anatomy including, small anatomy orthopedics. In addition to conservative therapy body x-rays we offer weight bearing and non weight bearing x-rays for podiatry studies, scoliosis x-rays, long leg x-rays, and metal clearing orbital x-rays.
All Digital X-rays are done on a walk in first come, first serve basis. MRI can be scheduled with our staff for same day or next day service.
